ABOUT OUR 1 0N 1 COACHING

We have numerous programs on offer that range from explanations on how the game of rugby is properly played, and also an insight to all the rules and procedures that follow it. We also offer different levels of training programs, which range from beginner to intermediate to advance. With the beginner level, we teach the basics of rugby such as ball handling, movement with the ball, tackling and passing. With the intermediate level, we teach spin passing, hand offs and offloading. Finally with the advanced level we teach, side stepping, behind the back passing and dump tackling.

In 2005 he was appointed forwards coach at Leicester Tigers succeeding John Wells.

 

Cockerill served as acting head coach of Leicester Tigers in the early part of the 2007–08 season before Marcelo Loffreda arrived from Argentina in the wake of the Pumas' third-place finish in the 2007 Rugby World Cup.

 

In the 2009–10 season Cockerill also led The Tigers to a second Premiership title in a row with a win over Saracens at Twickenham.

 

On 6 January 2017, he found a position with French TOP 14 team Toulon as a member of the coaching team for the 2016-2017 season.

 

On 20 February 2017, it was announced Cockerill has been appointed as head coach of Edinburgh Rugby for the 2017–18 Pro14 season.

In 2008, he moved to Ayr Rugby Club as Head Coach. Under his leadership, in his first season 2008–09.

In the 2010–11 season, Murray guided Ayr to the Quarter finals of the British and Irish Cup, so far the only Scottish side to get this far.

 

In 2012–13, Ayr scooped a League and Cup double by winning the Premier Division and the Scottish Cup. He was deemed the most successful coach in the Scottish club game.

2004–2011 : Bulls and Blue Bulls

He moved into a role as the teams' forwards and attack coach, helping the Bulls win three Super 14 titles in 2007, 2009 and 2010.

 

2012–2017 : South Africa

He was known for his attention to detail with utilising video analysis. In the coaching restructure post-2015 Rugby World Cup.

 

2017– : Munster

In October 2017, Van Graan left South Africa to join Irish Pro14 side Munster as their new head coach.
